Perhaps God has chosen to leave your circumstances the way they are. You may never feel any better. Your spouse may never return. You may not be healed. You may never recover financially to the level you once were. But God is no less faithful fot He will provide you with mercy and grace in your time of need.
The Lord did not say "MY grace will be sufficient for you," or "My grace has been sufficient for you." He said, "My grace IS sufficient." That's the present tense, that means right now. And so it can be in your life if you will chose to trust Him.
Father, help us to accept the fact that you may not change our circumstances, but You can change us. Your grace IS sufficient for our needs. If you chose not to deliver us, then sustain us in the midst of troubles.
He gives more grace. Therefore He says:
"God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." James 4:6
